So it’s taken me a while to write this post. In fact, it’s been a while since I did any post! I’ve not wanted to write about this cake because it went wrong. It was for a close friend, it was her wedding cake, and it went wrong.
So last weekend I went to see my friend armed with cake samples ready to plan her wedding cake. She was quite open to flavours and fillings so I went with a selection of light, summery cakes to try!

For Mother’s Day this year I combined two of my mum’s favourite things – cake and flowers.
